			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The Lady Dogs <a href="http://www.georgiadogs.com//ViewArticle.dbml?DB_OEM_ID=8800&#038;ATCLID=3663789" target="_blank">suffered a second half collapse</a> against the Lady Vols to fall 73-43. The occasion was of course an historic one for UT coach Pat Summitt.</p>
<blockquote><p>The victory was the 1,000th of Pat Summitt&#8217;s career and came before a crowd of 16,058 at Thompson-Boling Arena.</p>
<p>&#8220;I&#8217;d rather not talk about the game itself,&#8221; Andy Landers said. &#8220;I&#8217;m irritated right now. However, this was a historic achievement for Coach Summitt and the University of Tennessee. The thing that is most impressive is the consistency with which they competed over the past 35 years. They&#8217;ve done this over a very long period of time.&#8221;</p></blockquote>
<p>Coach Landers handled the moment with class. Too bad UT couldn&#8217;t have gotten it done in Norman the other night.</p>
